Our next Bath Group meeting is on Monday 31st July. We are delighted that Colin Chapman will be talking about Migration & Emigration.
Some of our ancestors travelled hardy at all; other moved large distances, emigrating to continents on the other side of the world, and perhaps later returning to join individual or groups of aliens immigrating into Britain.
In this illustrated lecture Dr Chapman examines what motivated our ancestors to move, offering ideas on which local, national and international records to study to trace their movements and origins.
The talk is being held at BRSLI in Bath, but is also available to members via Zoom. It begins at 7.30pm and non-members are welcome to attend in person.
