Description

Part 1 chronicles many of the events that took place in the Lawford’s Gate area during the 900 years from 1068 through to WW1.

Part 2 tells the story of a poltergeist that imposed its will on the two young daughters of Richard Giles, the landlord of The Lamb Inn situated in West Street, Old Market.

Part 3 of this trilogy is the biography of Thomas Buller Mitchell, who was born in 1833 and lived at various times in Baptist Mills, Moorfields, Easton and Newtown, whilst ultimately becoming a successful white metal worker/gas fitter, with his own business and a shop in Narrow Wine Street.
