Ladies Mile

The shocking and remarkable story of twilight Bristol from 1929 through to 1960.   Victoria Hughes took a job as a clockroom assistant at the toilet block on the Downs.  This is her story taken from her notebook of events that happened over the years.   A very remarkable and kind lady whose compassion saw no bounds.
