Cossham Memorial Hospital, Bristol. Development & Loss ALHA Books No 39

Cossham Memorial Hospital is named after the wealthy coal mine owner who founded it.  It functioned as a full hospital from 1907 but it has been stripped of the main functions from the 1980’s.  Here with many contemporary photographs, Dr Whitfield tell the story of its successful working and final degradation.
