April 23, 2024Ridgeway Cemetery – progress!
The Working party at Ridgeway Cemetery was very successful despite a short rain storm in the middle of the morning. A good number of volunteers, both locals and from BAFHS, attended.
The cleared pile of vegetation was huge – the photo gives you some idea! The event was organised by Katie Clements (pictured below) with Clare Hayward and John Butland Watts (also below) is the person who originally did a plan of the graveyard and listed all the graves.
Another work party has been arranged for Saturday 20 April, from 11am to 1pm – all welcome to help! The later start is to avoid clashing with ParkRun.
