The Suffragette Movement

Next Monday, 9th November, there will be a Bristol Group meeting and talk (via Zoom) when our guest speaker will be Elizabeth Crawford. Bristol and its inhabitants played a notable part in the 19th and 20th century suffrage movement. In this talk, Elizabeth Crawford, researcher and author of several books about the women’s suffrage movement, discusses the suffrage campaign from its beginnings in the 1860s.
