Our team of transcribers and checkers have completed the task of publishing the complete set of 30 volumes of these registers from the start at 1869 until 1899.
This monumental task which involved transcribing and checking over 101,000 records has been completed in less than four years and they are now available to inspect on the Members’ Dashboard.
Our thanks go to everyone involved in this project which give an insight how some of the poorer members of the nineteenth century population of Bristol lived.
Later volumes of these registers are in a different format so cannot be combined with these as a single index, and we are now working on the years 1899 to 1905.
